How do I log in?

Once the Violet Cares app is opened, it will prompt you for your email and password. NOTE: how are first time users getting their temp password?

The first time you log in, you will use a temporary password that is assigned (more about how/where receive this).  Once you are logged in, you can change the temporary password. At the bottom of the screen, go to Profile / Your Password. Click on the right arrow. You will be prompted to enter the current password and the new password. Click Save to complete the process.

How do I contact support?

There are 2 primary ways to contact support. While in the Violet Cares app, there is a hamburger menu at the top left (3 stacked lines). Click on the menu and select Support. Then click on the “Send an Email” button. An email will open in a browser.

You can also contact support directly on the Violet Cares website. Go to violetcares.org. Click on “Contact Us” in the top right corner.

What are the app’s terms of service?

Violet Care’s terms of service can be viewed through the app or website.

While in the Violet Cares app, there is a hamburger menu at the top left (3 stacked lines). Click on the menu and select Terms of Use. The End User License Agreement will open in a browser.

You can also view the terms of service on the Violet Cares website. Go to violetcares.org. Click on “End User License Agreement” in the top right corner.

What is the app’s privacy policy?

Violet Care’s privacy policy can be viewed through the app or website.

While in the Violet Cares app, there is a hamburger menu at the top left (3 stacked lines). Click on the menu and select Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy will open in a browser.

You can also view the terms of service on the Violet Cares website. Go to violetcares.org. Click on “Privacy Policy” in the top right corner.

What is Violet?

Violet offers personalized support, designed to promote educators’ well-being. Violet is an innovative tool created just for educators. She helps bring inspiration, empathy and support to educators at all levels of your organization.

Violet is the most genuine, kind and compassionate individual who always goes out of her way to help others. She is fiercely loyal and values her trusted relationships.  This section is WHO IS VIOLET… not sure if include since question is what is violet.

How do I use the app’s search feature?

To access Violet Care’s search feature, go to Explorer, located at the bottom of the screen. At the top of the screen, a search box will appear. You can enter key words to search for relevant content to view. Probably need more information here…..Right now, it seems that the search is set up to search on titles of the content.  So, if a phrase is typed into the search bar and there are corresponding content matches, those videos and stories will appear. If there are no content titles that match, the user will see “No results found.”

How do I update my email address?

In the Violet Cares app, at the bottom of the screen, go to Profile / Your Email. Click on the right arrow. You will be prompted to enter and confirm the new email. Click Save to complete the process.

How do I reset my password?

In the Violet Cares app, at the bottom of the screen, go to Profile / Your Password. Click on the right arrow. You will be prompted to enter the current password and the new password. Click Save to complete the process.

How do I delete my account?

On any page in the app, there is a hamburger menu at the top left (3 stacked lines). Click on the menu and select Delete Account. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Please note, once an account is deleted, it is final. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

Where can I find content that I have saved?

While viewing content, you can “bookmark” or “save” content for easy access. While viewing content titles, select the plus bottom in the bottom right corner.  The plus will change to a check mark once it is saved. To access the saved content, go to Library at the bottom of the screen.
